Rovinj

One of the most "photogenic" towns in the Mediterranean is the former fishing and now tourist town of Rovinj-Rovigno. About 40 kilometers away from Pula. In Rovinj and its surroundings there are some of the most beautiful beaches on the Istrian peninsula. Rovinj combines in a very interesting way the tradition of a small fishing village, which you can still feel today during traditional fishing festivals. Rovinj is especially proud of its Zlatni rta, the first protected forest park in Istria. Rovinj's cafes exude a special charm and almost all of them are located in attractive locations, and are enjoyed by local residents and foreign guests alike. Although there are no large discotheques in Rovinj, as we find in most touristic places, there is no shortage of entertainment. Nightlife takes place in numerous cafes with a great atmosphere. Rovinj, just like any real tourist destination, offers a handful of restaurants with a varied offer, which can sometimes be quite difficult to find your way around. At the same time, it should be kept in mind that in the last few years the quality of the catering offer has improved significantly and that there are many places where you can eat very well. The specialties are, of course, based on the rich offer of fish and seafood, but also on traditional delicacies such as prosciutto, truffles, asparagus, ombola, sausages, boškarin...besides the city of romance, it is certainly also a place with plenty of sports and entertainment activities. If you're not one of those people for whom a summer vacation means only lying on the beach, we would definitely advise you to explore some of the numerous attractions and natural beauties in the city and its surroundings. Then you can embark on one of the challenging adventures, depending on whether you are a sports enthusiast or simply want to spend a fun and relaxing day with your family.
